The onsite role will be located in Nicholls, GA. We are open to surrounding cities up to Valdosta, GA candidates applying. Additional locations in Georgia will open contingent on the building plans schedule.

Interns will work closely with experienced team members across departments such as farm management, sustainability, technology, shipping, sales, marketing, and customer relations.
You will receive comprehensive positive exposure to daily operations and strategic initiatives within these areas, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the farm.
Professional Development Opportunity: Our client values professional development and you will receive virtual and field operations professional training to develop your skills as operations grow. Professional uniformed shirts will be provided, and safety training will be required to ensure a secure work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with Leadership: Partner with leadership to assist in developing training modules that will be uploaded to their cloud-based learning management system, ensuring all training content is up-to-date and accessible for staff and customers.
Developing & Delivering Training Programs: Assist in creating and delivering training programs to staff and customers, focusing on best agricultural practices, sustainability, and industry advancements. Help enhance farming knowledge and skills across various teams.
Promoting Sustainable Farming Techniques: Play an active role in promoting sustainable farming practices across the operation. Help spread awareness of these practices and contribute to efforts aimed at reducing the environmental impact of farming operations.
Hands-On Experience Across Departments: Work closely with experienced professionals in multiple areas of the business, including farm management, sustainability, technology, shipping, sales, marketing, and customer relations, gaining exposure to various farm operations and strategic initiatives.
Contributing to Operational Success: Assist with day-to-day operations, contributing to key projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and growth within the agricultural sector.
Utilizing Technology Platforms: Gain hands-on experience with agricultural technology platforms, such as precision farming tools and data management systems. In some roles, you may assist with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing customer interactions and sales pipelines.
Support Marketing and Customer Relations: Assist in the marketing efforts of the company by supporting digital and in-person campaigns to promote the company’s agricultural products and services. Help maintain positive customer relationships through direct communication.
Assisting with Data Analysis: In certain roles, assist with basic data analysis and market research to evaluate sales trends, customer data, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
Outdoor Work & Flexibility: You will be expected to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and may be required to assist on weekends or holidays as needed, depending on operational demands.
Qualifications:
Must Be Enrolled in School in a Relevant Academic Program: Actively enrolled in an accredited academic institution, pursuing a degree in a related field such as Agriculture, Business, Marketing, Technology, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Farm Management, or similar disciplines.
Work Onsite & Remotely: Ability to work both on-site at and remotely, depending on the nature of the tasks and assignments. Flexibility with remote work opportunities will be provided when appropriate.
Demonstrated Leadership or Work Experience: Prior demonstrated work experience, whether through previous internships, part-time jobs, volunteer work, or school projects, student-body activities, ideally related to business, agriculture, sustainability, or environmental practices.
Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the farm for on-site work. This is essential to ensure timely attendance and consistent work schedules.
Flexible Internship Work Schedule Available: We offer flexibility with work hours, allowing you to balance your internship responsibilities with your class schedule.
Completion of Full Internship Program: To receive your internship certificate, interns must complete the full duration of the program that will range from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks, depending on your internship role. This ensures that you gain the full scope of learning and hands-on experience offered by the program.
Technical Skills:
Ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Ability to work online utilizing CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing sales pipelines and customer interactions. (Applicable to specific roles only.)
Familiarity with agricultural technology platforms, including precision farming tools and data management systems, is a plus. (Applicable to specific roles only.)
