Job Overview:

First Dunes Inc, a third-generation, family-owned residential custom homebuilding company, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support our high-performance homebuilding operations. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented professional eager to grow within the construction industry. If you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we're open to training you to fit our team's needs.

As a Project Coordinator, you will report to our Director of Operations, Kyla Gessin, while also collaborating with Field and Executive Project Managers, the Bookkeeper, and the Accountant. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth project execution through effective scheduling, material coordination, and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Orders & Bills
    • Enter and issue purchase orders, ensuring scope of work, pricing, and cost breakdowns are accurate.
    • Collaborate with project managers to clarify details and resolve discrepancies.
  • Material Coordination
    • Work with suppliers and Field Project Managers to ensure timely material deliveries.
    • Review subcontractor and supplier statements to verify accuracy against company records.
  • Schedule & Compliance Maintenance
    • Update and maintain project schedules, coordinating deliveries, appointments, and service providers.
    • Manage subcontractor insurance certificates, contracts, lien waivers, and compliance documentation.
  • Billing & Invoicing
    • Prepare bi-weekly owner invoices.
    • Collaborate with the Bookkeeper and Accountant for accurate billing and record-keeping.
  • File Management & Project Documentation
    • Organize and maintain project files across Dropbox, Plangrid, BuilderTrend, and CompanyCam.
    • Create job site QR codes to facilitate quick access to plans and specifications.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Office-Based)
  • Occasional 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shifts based on project needs.
