During that time, we have specialized in hospitality, multi-unit, industrial, office, retail, healthcare, and tenant improvements. Because of this expansion, we are looking for a Construction Superintendent. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating on-site labor, ensuring that construction is performed safely, according to plans/specifications, and executed with the highest quality.

 

What you’ll do:

 

Project Execution and Coordination:

  • Develop and manage project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Oversee and ensure quality control of subcontractor work.
  • Coordinate required building inspections.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with subcontractors to coordinate work.

 

Project Closeout and Business Development:

  • Manage project closeout, including obtaining certificates of occupancy and managing punch lists.
  • Prepare and present project status reports.
  • Market the company to owners and architects.
  • Engage in business development activities to secure future opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and documentation.

 

What you need to succeed:

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial construction projects
  • OSHA 30 certification (recommended)

 

Technical Skills:

  • Reading and comprehending complex documents, work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Procore

 

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize  and multitask
