Senior Construction Project Manager - Commercial and Institutional Custom Builder - Base Salary to 130k/year - Phoenixville, PA
Our client is a stable 90+ Year History Award-Winning Custom Builder in the institutional, commercial, and high-end custom home markets serving the Greater Philadelphia Area with offices located in the Phoenixville, PA area and Princeton, NJ area, and is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager. Work arrangement is primarily in-office, but our client is open to a hybrid schedule on a case-by-case basis.
The Senior Construction Project Manager will work in a casual, collaborative work environment and will help build our extensive portfolio of award-winning projects that includes retirement communities, private schools, religious institutions,commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and luxury custom homes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain communication with clients, architects, engineering consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and various townships and municipalities
Design and coordinate construction strategies
Review architectural plans, proposals, and other documentation related to design development
Manage job logistics and plan work schedules
Determine manpower levels and arrange for assignment of project personnel
Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure projects progress and stay on schedule and within budget
Create and submit purchase orders, buy outs, subcontractor contracts, change orders, and extra work orders
File permits
Manage punch lists
Track material and lead times for projects
Preparing special reports, forensic studies, and analysis
Lead owner meetings
Qualifications:
9+ years of Construction Project Management Experience Required running commercial and institutional construction projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field Required
Strong knowledge of project scheduling and documentation, construction disciplines, drawings and specifications, and risk management.
Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Project preferred
Experience on projects in the institutional, commercial, or high-end custom home markets preferred
Compensation:
Base salary to 130k/year
